☕🍳🍉 POST RUN BREAKY: After the race we will have a range of breakfast options including bacon and egg rolls, yoghurts and fruit.

🎂🍰 BIRTHDAY CAKE: As we are celebrating the club's 5th Birthday, there will of course be cake!

🍋🍊 We are also excited to have the awesome crew from Level Lemonade join us to give out free samples!

6:50-55AM - Course briefing
7:00AM - First Wazza Cup Runner starts
7:25-7:30AM - Last Wazza Cup Runner departs
8:05-8:10AM - Wazza Cup Runners finish
8:10AM - Breaky time
8:30AM Presentation of awards + SBR 5th Birthday Cake

Wazzup! The Wazza Cup is fast approaching! Don’t let this race catch up and pass you by! This race is really unique and this year, extra special as we celebrate the 5th birthday of South Bank Runners. We can't wait to share this milestone with all of you!

WHAT?

The Wazza Cup is a handicapped 10km race with staggered start times named after one of our legendary members - Warren “Wazza” McMillan. Your start time is determined by your 5km PB in 2024. The most slow and steady will do the honours of starting the race and the fastest will start dead last, making it anyone's race to win the Wazza Cup! Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd champions. Keep an eye out for the link to submit your 5km PB (verified through Strava or Parkrun or official race result) in the past 3 months.

WHERE?

This year, we're making slight changes to the course to commemorate our club's 5th birthday. The race will start and finish at South Bank Parklands. After the race, join us for a BBQ breakfast and birthday cake! A detailed course map will be provided soon.

WHEN?
